El Castillo Maya 2, is a vacation rental home located directly on the Caribbean Sea on the island of Isla Mujeres. Isla Mujeres is located 8 miles off the coast of Cancún on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, and can be reached by a 20 minute ferry ride from Puerto Juárez, Cancún. Located on a quiet street in the neighborhood of Salina Chica, Casa Azul is conveniently located on the Caribbean Sea side of the island, in close proximity to Playa Norte and the restaurants and activities in el centro, as well as the surrounding colonias.

The house features four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 8 guests. It is air-conditioned throughout, and is equipped with high speed wireless internet and over 80 channels of cable television. ECM2 has a 2nd floor garden terrace and a spacious rooftop palapa, containing a 40 ft. bar and a cozy seating area. The home shares a large pool, swim-up bar, and patio area with the adjacent property, El Castillo Maya 1

The first floor includes a fully-equipped kitchen and separate dining and living areas, offering sweeping views of the Caribbean. The home is equipped with wireless hi-speed internet and air-conditioning throughout. There is also a 32” flat-screen television with over 80 cable channels. There are two large bedrooms with queen beds, and a full bathroom on the first floor.

The second floor features a large master bedroom with stunning, unobstructed views of the Caribbean. The master bedroom has its own private balcony, a king-sized bed, and a 32” flat-screen television. Next to the master is a fourth bedroom with a full-sized bed. The two upstairs bedrooms share an over-sized bathroom, featuring a large vanity with double sinks, and an enormous shower. The second level also has a street-facing terrace and garden.

The third level features a roof-top palapa, with a 40-ft bar and a spacious seating area. Perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset, the palapa offers 360 degree, panoramic views of the island.

El Castillo Maya 2 shares the ocean-side pool, swim-up bar, and patio area with its neighbor, El Castillo Maya 1. The two properties can be rented together to accommodate large parties of 16-20 people – a great option for a family reunion or a wedding! There is plenty of off-street parking and both properties are beautifully landscaped.

The number of beds in the house can accommodate 8 guests. There are air mattresses available for additional guests. $30 charge per night for more than 8 guests. There is a $500 refundable damage deposit required for each booking.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

To confirm a reservation, a deposit of one-half of the total rental fee must be received within two weeks of making reservation. Balance is due on arrival, and keys will not be given to guests unless the payment is ready at that time, no exceptions, regardless of reason(payment in full before arrival is another option). If cancellation is necessary, a full refund of deposit will be given if intent to cancel is received at least 60 days prior to arrival; one half of the deposit will be refunded between 60-30 days prior, and if less than 30 days, no refund will be given, regardless of reason. We recommend that guests purchase trip insurance, readily available on-line, to safeguard against loss of any kind, whether illness, weather or other unforeseen eventualities that might prevent you from honoring your reservation. One change in reservation dates may be done with no charge; additional changes will be assessed a fee of $25 each.
